ORGANIC PIMA COTTON

The first domesticated examples of Pima Cotton (also known as Sea Island and Egyptian Cotton) occurred in 4200 BC at Ancon on the Peruvian coast. Considered by many to be the world's finest, Peruvian Pima is prized for its soft hand and silky texture--the result of both ideal growing conditions in the northern coastal valleys where it is culitivated, and hand harvesting which eliminates the scratchy impurities left by industrial harvesting. We use only certified Organic Peruvian Pima Cotton and color it only with all-natural plant and insect dyes.
